Stepping-up Ceremony 2001

Index:
The annual Stepping-up Ceremony was
held on 4 August 2001. We bade farewell to our current Secondary 4s and
welcomed the Secondary 3s who officially took over their various leadership
roles. Cumarran s/o Kaliyaperumal (312) succeeded the psotition of SPL from
Nicholas Foo (4A5). Eric Chua (308) and Lim Vinly (306) took over from Thang
Chang King (4A7) and Michael Enriquez (4A9) as the two ASPLs of Land and Sea
patrols respectively.
Consequently, the Secondary 4s that were passed out were promoted to the Venture
status. The Ventures also saw the passing out of the Year 2s and the entry of
the new blood. Koh Jin Sheng took over the post of Venture Unit Leader
(Operations Manager) from Jaron Chan who was simultaneously promoted to the
status of Venture Unit Leader (Supervisor).
It was an emotional and solemn
occasion for all of us.
