checking and maintenance, I have found out that our free forum
service are down. I will be moving the forums over to our own
servers soon (wait for the next update).
Please do feel
free to e-mail us regarding any misinformation and/or outdated
information that you wish us to correct. Also, please do
participate actively in helping us improve this website by
providing us with updated information regarding the history of
scouting and any other scouting content that you are good in
(especially on the topic of scouting skills, we are looking

Happy New Year
everyone!
The Lunar New
Year is approaching and I would like to seek this opportunity
to wish everyone a good year ahead, may all your wishes come
true and may there be peace throughout the world (most
unlikely with all the talk of the impending war with Iraq, but
nonetheless an optimistic wish).
I noticed that
the website has been neglected by the new webmaster... In any
case I will try to update the website with as much information
as I can before I serve my National Service.

As the exams

As from today,
the site will be temporarily halted till after the GCE A'
Level exams are over. We apologise for the inconsistency of

The new member of
the website management team has been identified. I will still
be a part of the team till a fully-functional replacement team
is formed. The new member is Venture Thang Chang King. You should

Good news! I did a
recent check on the site logs and found out that the visits to
Pelandok.Net have increased by 3-fold. Thank you for your
increasing support. Well let's hope that the number of
visitors per month per month will continue to increase so as
to allow us to be able to get some form of sponsorship to
offset costs for hosting and other services. Please keep the
clicks coming and
e-mail me if you have good
suggestions on how we can improve the website.
Keep a watch out
for the upcoming webmaster(s) as I will be stepping down soon
for my A-Levels preparation. I will still be staying around
for sometime before totally washing my hands off in mid
August (I hope).
Venture night will

were mainly that of people's names. Most of them have been

Well, well. Today
we announce the unofficial soft launch of the Pelandok.Net
website. After 6 months of development, it is finally up and
running as a full site. Coincidentally, we are also
celebrating our 80th anniversary today with a gangshow later
in the evening.
We hope to be able
to provide as much information about Scouting as possible. If
